Institutions
Each of the eight institutions of The Texas State University System has its own mission, history and goals. Many of the institutions joined The Texas State University System decades after being established.
Each university, college and institute within the System is unique in its own way; however, together, they strive to provide an educational programs, outreach and community enhancement services that will encourage lifelong learning, strong leadership and marketable workforce skills.
