 Diane Corley was born in Austin, and as a member of an Air Force family, she moved frequently, living in California, Florida, Delaware and Oklahoma, as well as France and Germany. Ms. Corley attended Altus Junior College in Oklahoma (now Western Oklahoma State University) for two years, receiving an associate of arts degree, took summer school courses at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, and finished her bachelor of science degree in education at The University of Texas at Austin. She later returned to The University of Texas School Of Law, receiving her J.D. in 1990. After becoming a member of the Texas Bar, Diane went to work at the Legislative Budget Board, where she worked as a budget analyst for criminal justice agencies, the appellate courts of Texas and higher education institutions. In 2002, she came to work at the Texas State University System and now serves as associate general counsel. |
