The Office of Academic Affairs provides leadership and guidance to the eight component institutions of The Texas State University System to create and sustain excellence in educational opportunities, research and service.

Representing the academic interests of the System, the Office of Academic Affairs facilitates achievement of component institution goals relating to academic program planning, faculty and students. It also collaborates with the System’s provosts to effect curriculum development and integrate physical and technological innovations within the classroom.
