The Texas State University System Foundation
The Texas State University System Foundation was established by the Board of Regents of the Texas State University System in 1977 to solicit, accept, acknowledge, and manage gifts in support of the Texas State University System and its eight institutions.
The Foundation directs system-wide major gift fund-raising benefiting education, research and service programs throughout the Texas State University System. It serves both donors (individuals, corporations and organizations) and the university (administrators, faculty, staff and students).
The Foundation is a private, nonprofit corporation that exists solely for the benefit of the Texas State University System, functions independently under its own board of directors, and pursues its own investment policies in the management of foundation funds.
The TSUS Foundation may accept a variety of assets, including:
- Cash
- Stocks
- Real Estate
- Personal Property
- Intellectual Property
- Leases
- Working interests
- Oil Royalties
- Annuities
- Grants in support of TSUS and its component institutions
The circumstances of each gift are considered individually. The TSUS Foundation works with donors to make gifts as easy as possible.
