Texas State University System Foundation Chairman Charlie Amato has announced that Mike Wintemute has been named executive director of the TSUS Foundation. Wintemute, deputy vice chancellor for marketing and communications at TSUS, will succeed Pat Tibbetts, who is retiring from the Foundation after four years of service.

The Advisory Search Committee, appointed by Dr. Jaime Garza, chairman of the Board of Regents of the Texas State University System, selected the finalists from a field of nearly 40 candidates identified in a national search.
