Chairman Scott Appoints Advisory Committee to Launch Sul Ross Presidential Search (1/22/20)
William F. Scott, Chairman of the TSUS Board of Regents, has appointed the following individuals to serve on the Advisory Search Committee for the next president of Sul Ross State University:

- April Aultman Becker, Dean of Library and Research Technologies, SRSU
- Leo Dominguez, Vice President for Student and University Services, SRSU
- Nick Gallegos, Executive Director, Middle Rio Grande Development Council
- Hector Gonzales, Ph.D., President, Southwest Texas Junior College
- Paulette Harris, Administrative Associate, SRSU
- Louis Harveson, Ph.D., Regents’ Professor, Director, SRSU Borderlands Research Institute
- Bill Mitchell, Uvalde County Judge
- Patricia Nicosia, Ph.D., Professor, Interim Assistant Provost and Dean of SRSU Middle Rio Grande Region campuses

The Advisory Search Committee will meet several times over the next four months to help identify the desired attributes and qualifications of the next Sul Ross president, and to recommend finalists to the Chancellor, who will select the sole finalist for Board of Regents' consideration.
