Mikaela Stiner is the Director of Creative and Digital Communications for the Texas State University System. Previously, she served as Communications and Events Manager for the Leander Educational Excellence Foundation, where she led the organization’s communications efforts and managed the planning and execution of community and fundraising events. Prior to that, she was a Communications Specialist for Leander Independent School District, where she produced a wide range of content, including photography, videos, social media, and written stories. Stiner also worked as a Multimedia Specialist and English language arts teacher at an international school in Tunis, Tunisia, taught English in Amman, Jordan, and co-founded an online news organization. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Randolph College and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Liberty University.
