The Texas State University System’s public art collection spans its seven member institutions, from far west Texas to the Gulf Coast, and may be enjoyed by students and visitors alike. Always free and accessible, the collection enhances the campus environment, fosters a sense of place, provides memorable landmarks, and reflects the campus history and values.
The first higher education system established in Texas, TSUS member institutions showcase over 350 permanent works of art in public spaces, dating from the early 1900s through present day and representing numerous genres and media.
The public art collection narrates the story of what it means to be part of the Texas State University System, fostering connections through observation and interpretation.
