Sheila Faske of Rose City, Texas, was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott in February 2021 to a six-year term on the Texas State University System Board of Regents. She is an accounts manager for American Office LLC, where she sells commercial office furniture to construction and industrial sites. Originally from Silsbee, Texas, she grew up working in her family's print shop. She earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business and Computer Information Systems from Lamar Institute of Technology in 2004 and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She has also studied General Biblical Studies at South Texas Baptist Institute and Seminary. In addition, Regent Faske is a graduate of the Missouri Auction School and is a Texas-licensed auctioneer.

Prior to her appointment to the Board of Regents, Regent Faske served as a public member of the Governor's EMS and Trauma Advisory Council.

Regent Faske and her husband, Keith Faske, reside in Rose City, Texas, where she is active in her community. She serves on various community advisory councils and is a member of several chambers of commerce, as well as the Beaumont Founders Lions Club. She is also involved in her church and serves as president of the Women's Auxiliary of the Missionary Baptist Association of Texas. Regent Faske previously served a two-year term as chaplain of the National Federation of Republican Women. Her term on the Board of Regents expires in 2027.
