Tom Long, a graduate of Lamar University, was appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer of Energy Transfer in January 2021, having served as Energy Transfer’s Chief Financial Officer from 2016 through 2020. Regent Long is also on the Board of Directors of Energy Transfer LP. Additionally, he is Chairman of the Board of USA Compression Partners, LP, and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Texas Capital Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: TCBI), the parent company of Texas Capital Bank.

Prior to Energy Transfer, Regent Long was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Regency GP LLC from November 2010 to April 2015. From May 2008 to November 2010, he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Matrix Service Company. He also served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of DCP Midstream Partners, LP from its formation in December 2005 through 2008. From 1998 to 2005, Regent Long served in several executive positions with subsidiaries of Duke Energy Corp., one of the nation’s largest electric power companies. Energy Transfer is one of the top 100 U.S. companies based on revenue as ranked by Fortune and is one of the largest and most diversified energy infrastructure companies in North America with more than 120,000 miles of pipeline related facilities traversing 41 states.

Regent Long’s term on the Board of Regents expires in 2029.
