College Results Online (CRO) is an interactive, user-friendly Web tool designed to provide policymakers, counselors, parents, students, and others with information about college graduation rates for nearly any four-year college or university in the country.

Digest of Education Statistics
A compilation of statistical information covering the broad field of American education from prekindergarten through graduate school. The Digest includes a selection of data from many sources, both government and private, and draws especially on the results of surveys and activities carried out by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

General Social Survey
Since 1972, the General Social Survey (GSS) has provided politicians, policymakers, and scholars with a clear and unbiased perspective on what Americans think and feel about such issues as national spendi​ng priorities, crime and punishment, intergroup relations, and confidence in institutions.

IPEDS Data Center
The IPEDS Data Center is your "one-stop-shop" for the retrieval and analysis of data on colleges and universities. Use it to access and evaluate the institutional-level data collected in the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). The Data Center includes a wide-range of functional options, including the ability to compare institutions side-by-side, construct customized data sets, download full data files, and create different statistical summaries and trend reports. It also serves as an entry point to the IPEDS Executive Peer Tool and Data Analysis System.

National Center for Education Statistics
The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data related to education.

NCHEMS (Information Center for Higher Education Policy and Analysis)
The mission of the National Information Center for Higher Education Policymaking and Analysis is to provide state policymakers and analysts timely and accurate data and information that are useful in making sound higher education policy decisions.

Texas Demographic Center
The Texas Population Estimates and Projections Program was established in the mid-1980s to meet a growing demand for population estimates for places and counties and for estimates and projections for counties that had age, sex and race/ethnicity detail.

Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Tools and Reports
This website is maintained by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) and is intended primarily for users who wish to locate or generate data regarding higher education. The site provides direct access to various reports, statistics, queries, and interactive tools. As features are added or updated, a notification panel on the homepage titled Latest News assists users in identifying the most recent changes.

Texas Public Higher Education Almanac
A profile of state and institutional performance and characteristics for Texas public postsecondary institutions.

Sources & Uses
Sources and Uses reports provides annual financial report information by fund group for Texas public institutions of higher education (excluding community colleges). Excel workbooks for Sources and Uses and Research Expenditures are also provided by institution type.

Research Funding in Texas
Provides a number of reports related to research funding and research expenditures.

Applicants, Acceptance, Enrollment
The Texas First-Time Undergraduate Applicant, Acceptance, and Enrollment Information summarizes the number of applications filed, acceptances/offers given, and actual enrollment for Texas public universities. The report presents Fall data for each public university as well as statewide.

Graduation Rates
The graduation rate reports provide a one-page summary of statistics for each of the Texas public universities or the Texas public two-year colleges. Each report also includes an aggregate statewide analysis. All reports track a cohort of first-time students entering in the fall semester of the year identified who enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours for at least their first semester. The students originally enrolled at either a public university or two-year college (CTC) and are tracked throughout Texas public higher education for six years. Student enrollment with independent institutions, public or independent health-related institutions, and career colleges are not included.

Distance Education Data
Distance education data reports include detailed and summary information about student enrollments and semester credit hours (SCH) attempted at Texas public higher education institutions by course location and mode of instruction.

Course and Program Inventory
Includes inventories common to all Texas institutions as well course and program inventories unique to specific sectors.

Degree Program Search
This tool allows a user to search by one field or a combination of fields to find a degree program(s) offered at one or more public community, technical, or state college, public university, health-related institution, Independent/Private(ICUT) Institution, For Profit Colleges & Universities Authorized by Certificate, or Other Institutions Authorized by Certificate.

Average faculty salary reports by fiscal year are provided for Texas public institutions of higher education.

Annual Licensure Report
The Annual Licensure Report provides licensure and certification examination results for approved technical associate degree and certificate programs leading to professions requiring licensure or certification. The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board uses this information as part of its overall assessment of the effectiveness of vocational education programs at community and technical colleges in the state.

Automated Student and Adult Learner Follow-Up System (ASALFS)
The Automated Student and Adult Learner Follow-Up System (ASALFS) tracks graduates, completers and non-returners from an academic year for employment and/or additional education. ASALFS results are provided for Texas public community, state and technical colleges. Exit cohort reports provide additional information for Texas 2-year and 4-year institutions.

Expenditure Study | Report of Fundable Operating Expense
The Texas Public General Academic Institutions Expenditure Study draws on the “all funds” expenses reported in the institutions’ annual financial reports to produce a relative weight matrix used in calculating the Instruction and Operations (I&O) formula funding. The Community and Technical Colleges Formula Advisory Committee of the THECB uses the data collected in this report to recommend formula funding rates and levels.

U.S. Census Bureau
This is the new platform to access data and digital content from the U.S. Census Bureau.
